COVID-19 Pandemic in the Philippines

We receive regular updates at HealthStar on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in Manila and the rest of the Philippines. As of July 29, Metro Manila is on heightened quarantine restrictions until August 20. This is to combat the spread of the Delta variant.

For immigration purposes, this means that Embassy interview slots will continue to be limited. NCLEX and IELTS exam seats may also be limited to rescheduled depending on the respective testing center’s locations. Additionally, couriers for important documents will also be limited due to the restrictions on travel within provinces.

As always, we at HealthStar along with our overseas agency will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates where possible. In the meantime, we continue to pray for the health and safety of our family and friends in the Philippines and around the world.
